The principal of Anesthesia Consulting is Thomas Renter, a full-time practicing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Anesthesia Consulting is designed to provide the anesthesia-related expertise needed in the medico-legal, training, and risk management arenas. Our clients receive objective assessment, thorough research, and thoughtful opinions based on accepted standards of care. Experience includes over 25 years in nursing with 17 years as a CRNA. Clinical practice has been in a variety of settings from solo rural practice to level one trauma centers, and includes over 21 years of active duty service in the U.S. Air Force. He is licensed as a Risk Manager in Florida and is preparing for national certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) He is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers (ASHRM) and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
